Work is focused on the chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, food processing and environmental and hazardous waste industries. Former plant manager of a national waste solvent recovery and recycle business. Specialties include, process design and troubleshooting, filtration, drying, pollution prevention, Superfund remediation design, negotiations with state and federal regulators, public presentations, and chemical separations processes. Forensic engineering expert with extensive experience in accident root-cause determination of death or injury as well as premature process related product failure. Stanley Yoslov

Raja Venkateswar, PhD, PE, CHMM

Extensive experience in environmental project management, process design and engineering for chemical plants, pharmaceutical plants refineries, and power plants. Areas of expertise in environmental engineering include Remediation, Air Permitting under CAA, Environmental Assessments, Underground Storage Tank Management, Wastewater treatment, Hazardous Waste Management (RCRA), RCRA Facility Investigations (RFIs), Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Studies under CERCLA. Areas of expertise in process design/engineering include distillation systems, reactors, heat exchangers, solid/liquid separation systems, adsorption/absorption systems, and process safety management.

 

John Angstmann, P.E.
Senior Associate

Licensed Professional Engineer with over 20 years of environmental engineering and project management experience for broad range of industrial/commercial, municipal, state and federal clients.  Areas of expertise include wastewater permitting, compliance, spill and storm water pollution prevention plans, site investigation, soil and groundwater remediation and regulatory closure of contaminated sites, hazardous waste management/RCRA, landfills, and compliance audits.  Experienced in addressing wide range of environmental issues and sites, including manufacturing, food and consumer products, petroleum, chemical, and municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.

 

William L. Holley, PE
Senior Process Engineer

25 years of extensive plant operations oriented chemical process design and engineering. Managed design, installation, startup and troubleshooting of numerous capital projects including oil field petroleum production, medical device manufacturing and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). Experience includes 16 years of combined engineering and operations and maintenance (O&M) management responsibilities to support major ISO 9000 certified manufacturer of bulk detergent and antiperspirant plant operations for international manufacturer.

Air, water, and particulate sampling and pollution control; chemical kinetics and thermodynamics; size reduction; application of computers to industrial process modeling; food process engineering; chemical agent destruction, mining, and supercritical water oxidation. Author or co-author of more than 60 publications and presentations including Perry's Handbook and five patents.

Richard J. Kolodziej, MBA., P.E.
Senior Process Technology Engineer

Mr. Kolodziej has over 25 years of production and process engineering experience in the oil, petrochemical, and fine chemical industries. Areas of process engineering expertise include heat and material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, process simulation, economic evaluations, technology evaluation/development, process due diligence, hazard analyses, and detailed equipment design specifications.

Fields of experience include design and operation of the following refinery processes: crude pipestills, fluid catalytic cracking units, hydrocrackers, cokers, naphtha hydrotreaters and catalytic reformers, oxygenates production and conversion, isomerization units, distillate and gas oil hydrotreaters, sulfur plants, and alkylation processes. Other fields of experience include some aspects of: lube oil re-refining, air separation units, azeotropic distillation, mole sieve unit design, C5-C9 olefin and diolefin recovery and specialty processing, LNG and gas processing, alcohol production and purification, ethylene plant design, propane/propylene splitter design, oxygenates production, and ethylene oxide/glycol design and production and Ethanol Processing

Bernard Wendrow, PE., PhD.
Senior Associate

Over fifty years experience in industrial research, refinery and chemical process plant design, teaching at two major universities, and environmental engineering. Specialties include process development for inorganic chemical plants; pilot scale testing, process engineering, design, and startup for a refinery; and remediation system design. As manager of Environmental Control Systems Group at North American Rockwell (now Rockwell International), worked on temperature and atmosphere control systems for manned spacecraft including Apollo, Skylab, and the Space Shuttle. In the area of environmental engineering, he has developed process designs for pollution control methods for groundwater remediation, air pollution and soil contamination. He has also designed and specified process equipment for these remediation methods.

Adam Rose, PE.
Senior Process Engineer

13 years experience in chemical process design, construction, start-up, training, operations, and troubleshooting. Industry examples are liquid/aerosol consumer products, industrial organics, petrochemicals and refining, metal and mineral oxidation. Considerable experience in applications of fluid handling, heating/cooling, mixing dispersion, drying, pneumatic conveying, and air/solids separation. Effective in scale-up and isolating/eliminating pinch points to provide required capacity and quality.
